Exciting things going on!

Several years ago, I started working on getting trained to teach CPR. I think that it is such an important skill and i wanted to be able to share it. I took the required classes. I did the required practice. Then it came time for me to teach a class and be monitored and...I panicked! I totally chickened-out. So here it is two years later and I am finally back to it. I re-took the classes and have been practicing and watching others teach. Next Saturday, I teach my first CPR class on my own. I will finally be available to offer CPR classes as of August 7th.  :)

product review- the True Womb Swaddle

True Womb Swaddle

I highly recommend swaddling for newborns. I rarely recommend a specific swaddle wrap. I tend to use a muslin blanket. This swaddle was recommended to me by another doula when we were discussing some issues a couple of my clients were having with the regular swaddling methods.
I have to say, I love it! below i list some of the benefits and a couple of cons.

Benefits...
